General FAQ

1
How are the recipients getting the aid if the blockade is still in effect?
Money will go towards the remaining aid that is already inside of Gaza. Due to the scarcity of this aid, it is extraordinarily expensive - highlighting the urgency of this auction.
2
How is the auction being vetted?
The Gaza Aid Collective is hosting this auction through BetterWorld.org, which implements measures to build credibility and ensure donations reach legitimate organizations. These measures include verifying the identity of the nonprofit, reviewing the campaign details, and confirming the organization's mission and activities.
3
How are recipients vetted?
Each recipient has successfully completed a rigorous, multi-tiered verification process. The nonprofit organizations are fiscally sponsored by certified 501(c)(3) entities and have been thoroughly vetted by their respective fiscal sponsors. Individual families have undergone a comprehensive review process, including multiple interviews and an in-depth examination of supporting documentation.

4
What if I want to donate, but don't want to participate in the auction?
Monetary donations are welcome too! Please follow the link below to contribute with a cash donation.

5
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Unfortunately donations are not tax deductible. Gaza Aid
Collective is a temporary initiative, not a registered 501c3.
